For our 2019 pilot year, we required candidates to have two years work experience. However, we have decided to remove this requirement and in it’s place, we will assess for work place maturity and professional credibility during the recruitment process.
This eligibility requirement was removed because after reviewing the extent to which the additional experience helped our participates we realised our participates were thriving due to having the competencies and values needed to succeed as a Detective Constable, but not necessarily due to the extra experience. We now invite both recent graduates and career changers to apply.
